3D Medical Animator
Nucleus Medical Art is seeking qualified 3D Medical Animators to help our team of 25 professionals achieve its ongoing mission of raising health and science literacy worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will be to work directly with clients and experts in various markets producing written proposals, storyboards, models, animatics, and final animations in a team-oriented, deadline-driven environment. Nucleus hosts more web traffic than any other medical illustration/animation business in the world,* averaging over 1.5 million unique visits monthly. Because of our strong web presence, we receive a broad spectrum of requests from clients in numerous markets. While most of the animations you produce will be for medical device, legal, pharmaceutical and publishing markets, you may also work with consumer product companies, academics, broadcast networks, news media and others.
Requisite Skills
- Proficiency and speed in 3D software (Cinema 4D on Mac OS)
- Must be competent in modeling, rendering, animation, and audio editing
- Graduate-level knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and surgery
- Knowledge of molecular biology and biochemistry highly desirable
- Superior communication skills
- Must write detailed proposals, and communicate orally with clients, experts, team
- Superior research skills
- Must be able to locate scientific information online or in traditional media

Nucleus Medical Art is seeking an experienced 3D model rigger for full anatomical rigging of our male and female Zygote anatomy collection models and Zygote Baby model.
Job Requirements
Rigging for the male and female models requires: deformation and weighting of skin, nerves, vessels and organs, muscle deformation with accurate flexion and extension, full skeleton articulation. All elements are to work together with perfect registration. Baby requires only skin rigging. All models require basic facial expression rigging.
Controls for rigged models are to be easy to use, natural, and highly detailed. Design requires motion capture and dynamics compatible.

Nucleus Medical Art is seeking up to five part-time free-lance Medical Writers or Medical Illustrator/Animators to create detailed animation proposals explaining anatomy, physiology, diseases, conditions, surgery, and/or product mechanism of action for medical device manufacturers, pharmaceutical companies, the publishing industry, etc. You will work as part of our Content Development team, creating accurate, timely animation proposals based on various client needs.

- Working with the Animation Team to ensure the Animation Proposal conforms to our production capabilities
Position Requirements

- Minimum 3 years experience in medical writing or animation proposal writing
